Who sends these messages?

Jewelry and watch stores that use the JewelAI platform send SMS text messages to their customers. JewelAI provides the software platform that enables stores to send transactional repair-status notifications. Messages are sent from the store's registered phone number on behalf of JewelAI and/or the jewelry store handling your repair.

How you opt in

You receive SMS text messages only after providing explicit, affirmative consent. Consent is collected in the following way:

When a jewelry store creates or updates your customer profile during repair intake, a digital form includes your mobile phone number and an unchecked SMS consent checkbox. You must actively check the checkbox before submitting the form. The checkbox is unchecked by default — no messages will be sent unless you opt in.

Consent checkbox language:

“I agree to receive text message updates about my jewelry repair from JewelAI and/or the jewelry store handling my repair. Message frequency varies based on repair activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

Consent to receive text messages is always collected separately from any other agreement and is never bundled into terms of service or a privacy policy. The checkbox is not pre-checked.

Types of messages

Stores send only transactional SMS text messages directly related to your jewelry repair activity:

  • Repair intake confirmation
  • Repair status updates (e.g., in progress, ready for pickup)
  • Estimate approval requests
  • Pickup reminders
  • Completed repair notifications

No marketing, promotions, or advertising messages are sent. All messages are service-related repair notifications.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on repair activity. Typically 1–5 messages per repair or service request, depending on the number of status changes.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. JewelAI and the stores using our platform do not charge for SMS messages.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further text messages will be sent. You may also contact the store directly to request removal.

Consent is not required

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may decline SMS notifications and still receive repair services from the store.

Privacy

Your phone number and SMS opt-in consent data are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
