SMS Communications Consent

Who sends these messages?

Jewelry and watch stores that use the JewelAI platform send SMS messages directly to their customers. Each store manages its own customer communications. Messages are sent from the store's registered phone number.

How you opt in

You receive SMS text messages only after providing explicit, separate consent to the store. Consent is collected in one of the following ways:

  • In-store (verbal or written): A store associate asks you directly whether you agree to receive text messages (SMS) from the store. Your consent is recorded in your customer profile at the time it is given. You are not required to consent as a condition of any purchase or service.
  • Digital intake form: On any digital customer form, the following consent statement appears as a standalone checkbox — separate from any terms of service or privacy policy: “I agree to receive text messages (SMS) from [Store Name] about my repairs, orders, and appointments. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help.”

Consent to receive text messages is always collected separately from any other agreement and is never bundled into terms of service or a privacy policy.

Types of messages

Stores send only transactional SMS text messages directly related to your activity with the store:

  • Repair status updates (e.g., “Your repair is ready for pickup”)
  • Order confirmations and pickup notifications
  • Appointment reminders
  • Layaway or special order updates

Message frequency: Varies based on your activity with the store. Typically 1–5 messages per transaction or service request. No marketing or promotional messages are sent without additional explicit consent.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. You may also contact the store directly to request removal.

Reply HELP to any message for assistance or contact the store directly.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. JewelAI and the stores using our platform do not charge for SMS messages.

Privacy

Your phone number is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is used solely to send you updates from the store where you provided consent. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
